Dominant Culture

A camera holds no biases… it is simply machinery that captures what it is told and displays its contents when commanded. It is only when its contents are interpreted that its texts take on a form of their own, becoming something unique to the eye of the beholder and eventually eliciting their own representations of power.

One that examines both the Black Lives and Blue Lives Matter groups and contrasts them against each other. One that lets the media demonstrate how both groups are attempting to sway dominant culture discourse in favour of their own ideologies, and one that ultimately lets the viewer establish their own position on the matter; examining dominant culture from both sides of the coin…
